Some guardians request assistance in getting their wards married from the Orphanage. Proposals also come from families for suitable brides for their sons. In such cases marriages are performed in the Orphanage after proper investigations are made about the groom, his medical wellbeing, employment, temperament, the family and the proposed living conditions. The bride is provided with all household requirements, suitable clothes etc. The Nikah is performed and the girl is betrothed to the groom. These occasions are celebrated in the Orphanage and the bride’s family, friends, and Committee Members usually attend the function, which includes an afternoon meal.
