Two more floors were constructed above the hall by the same generous Bassams in the loving memory of their brother \u201cKhalid Al Bassam\u201d. It was the earnest desire of Mudhavi Al Bassam that some sort of cottage industry be started here for the girls at the Orphanage as well as women from financially weaker sections of the society. Though in a different way, this goal\/dream was realized in a very different way.
