The Vali Mohamed & Dost Mohamed Peer Mohamed Muslim Girls’ Orphanage was established by the two brothers Vali Mohamed and Dost Mohamed in the year 1925, for the upbringing of Muslim Orphan girls belonging to the financially weaker sections of the Muslim society.
Since then the institution has not only provided shelter to Orphan girls but has also taken care of their food, clothing and education.
The Peer Mohamed family and the Al Bassam family were good friends. Though the elders of both the families had left for their heavenly abode, the bond of friendship continued to exist in the generations that followed.
We start the process of admission in the month of February every year. The girl to be admitted to the Orphanage must be above 4 years and below 10 years of age.
